What is the deal with everyone hog and reselling Skil planers? Obviously supply and demand, but how in the heck can someone pay ove a $1000 dollars for a planer. On e-bay I have noticed guys playing bidding tricks to inflate the price wars. Be cool and fair when dealing with Skil 100… Perhaps making a fair deal with people with intergrity off-line would be a better environment. Let me know what you think.
I know I’m commenting on an old post here but I can’t find any other comments. I’ve got three of the Skil 100 planers. I don’t intend on ever selling them. Accurate Fishing products in conjunction with Greg Knoll and his son is manufacturing a killer new updated version of the Skil 100. All CNC milled billet aluminum it is awesome. $1250.00 base price for the planer only. If you want the custom wood box for it, it’s an extra $129.95 for a total of $1379.95 if you want the vacuum chute also add another $175.00 for a grand total of $1554.95 Ouch!!! So If you find an old Skil 100 or 676 that’s in good condition or better $600.00 to $1000.00 isn’t to bad. And if your looking and you get lucky enough to find one for less than that don’t hesitate to buy it.
