Not big in to surf contests, but Slater has this dialed in real nice - Link here [/url]
Shoots,
Tried, but it won’t link.

Fixed, sorry.
Thanks for the fix. Isn’t there a law against being that skilled?!!
Man! It’s incredible: that’s exactly how I surf in my dreams.
But seriously, this guy, when he’s on, is on another level altogether. Amazing surfer.
Doug
he blindsided 'em at Snapper and Bells with design modifications that gave him a significant material advantage over his rivals.
from there skill and tactical intelligence have continued to make the rest of the 44 look pretty second rate.
He’s yet to be beaten by another 44 surfer this year.
For mine, it makes the whole sport/art/lifestyle debate irrelevant.
Surfing IS a legitimate sport now and as I’ve aged I 've allowed myself to enjoy it as much as I do watching any other sport.
Watching Joel Parko Vs Taylor Knox the other night at perfect J-Bay was some of the best surfing I’ve ever seen.
Pure surfing.
If Slater makes it through the 3 round of this conny it’s shut the gate for Title No:9.

Speaking of…Taylor has incorporated a couple of design changes as well. One of which has NEVER been used by a top pro in competition and it seems to have given him a nice edge…
OK, what is it? Never been used before? Really? Tell…! Please!
Running basically a bonzer bottom and some prototype fins with controlled flex patterns. Can you say SPRIIIING?
Yeah Knox seems different better in that contest. He seems to be going faster snappier than before…more Slater like, yet smooth as usual. Whatever he’s doing, kudos to TK.
On a related note, my best board has some trippy fin flex going on that wasnt there when using previous fins. The fins made all the diff. Just trippy.
