small repair - resin only?

i have a small fracture on the tail of my board, just above the rail and about 4 inches up from the tail. the line is about 2 inches long with a few very small lines (about 1/4 of an inch) running across it, like railroad tracks. if i run my fingers over it, it’s still smooth except at one end where it’s barely noticeable. it’s not a big deal by itself, but i don’t want it to leak or get worse. should i just spread some resin over it, use cloth too, or something else? it’s silane glass. thanks in advance for any help - i know this is beneath most people here but i think advice here is more reliable than if i asked elsewhere.

For practically invisible repair, sand it smooth, mask, dab with styrene followed by sanding resin. Pull tape and when fully cured, wet and dry the edges. Rubbing compound or a spray of clear acrylic will restore the shine.

thank you, JohnMellor.
