Any of you follow some of the surfboard building groups on Facebook? The amount of bad information on those groups is stunning. Someone asks a pretty basic question and you get a ratio of about 3 off base responses to 1 response that contains good information.
I didn’t know there were any, but it figures there would be. Before FB there was always plenty of youtube “experts”. Some of the videos there were pretty ridiculous. One girl claimed to be a ding expert. She said that after you apply resin to a glass patch you had to wait for the fiberglass to melt.
Then, there’s all those people who talk about “epoxy vs fiberglass boards”.
