Soft top decking

Howzit fellow Swaylockers; need some help locating and ordering some nice soft top decking for a pair of “comfort boards” we want to build; the plan is to build a couple of EPS/Epoxy 10 footers and deck em with some comfortable soft top material; Iʻm not talking about the SUP traction decking; I can get that stuff here in the shops; what I want is the soft top stuff; I donʻt even know the real name of the material soooo… I need the name and the location of a supplier I can order some from,hopefully in Hawaii or Calif.; and what is the name of this product,soft top decking, h-cell, greencell, neoprene???some help would be appreciated!!!

Hydroturf.com is where a lot of the SUP decking comes from in Los Angeles area of California. They have a lot of patterns and colors that might do the job.  The name of the foam used for the decking and stomp pads is Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, EVA. Please let us know if you find another supplier of that kind of foam. thanks.

I make my own soft pads for kneeboards.  These are 10mm thick (3/8") closed cell EVA that I buy in sheets.  You can also get 6mm (1/4").  It should be easy to get from foam suppliers. Similar to camping pads, but waay better quality.

You can cut it with craft knife and sand to fine the edges down to 1/8" (mind catching with sanding disks!).  I use a router or sometimes the edge of a grinder or sanding disk to cut patterns).
