Anyone know anything about Solarez compared to FBH UV?
And especially this Low VOC stuff you can coat an EPS blank or balsa skin with to then laminate with UV PU resin?

FBH UV has a strong VOC like regular PU
so it’d been interesting to find a UV resin that’s low VOC like epoxy.
actually i was talking about their UV PU and their low VOC precoat for EPS foam and wood
UV epoxy would be nice but your UV PU has as strong a fragrence as regular PU
i like using it but for a garage builder its very difficult because of the smell for the neighbors and family
in my neighborhood people start thinging you are cooking batu or something

The zerovoc product has been around for a while and never really caught on because it’s not truly an epoxy and it still has an odor. There’s a thread in the general discussion that covers this at the moment. Louis formulates our epoxy resins and we also make our own UV catalyst and he’s been working on one but isn’t quite happy with the results yet. So far it’s not possible to make a 100% truly UV cure epoxy but we are always trying so stay tuned.
