hi guys, ive just requested supplier details for solarez uv polyester resin for the UK and got contacted back to tell me about a new product which will hit our shores soon. they are sending me a sample up front to try but say its a uv catalysing epoxy which can be used straight onto styrofoam as it kicks in 1 minute under uv light. they also say once the foam is sealed with the first layer i can use any resin type on top. any of you guys seen this product/have any experience with this??
cheers in advance
hmm…sounds very yellow to me

Hi Jase
I’ve used that stuff before as well but only for temp repairs in the field.
If someone wants a repair done but I’m backed up with work and they want to go surfing before I can fit them in I tell them to use it in the mean time to make thinks water tight, then when its time for a propper job it comes straight out in no time.
