Some of my first board pics, and a planer question.

Really was a blast shaping…When I’m skinning the board down, and taking it to the desired thickness. Some of my passes seem inconsistant. that is one pass seem a little shallow. I’m pulling my passes from “virgin area” but it seem to leave a ridge. I am using a clark foam planer, and i’m keeping teh depth of the planer the same.

A) could it be from taking the skin off, and I’m pulling a bump down through my shape. That is that it is following me down from the begining.

B) Or will this an experiance thing. " Experiance is expensive"

Any tips would be appreciated

This is a 6’0" 15"N 20"W 14-1/2"T stinger swallow. I’m still doing some small cosmetic touch ups before it gets glassed.

Thought I would share.

Is there ever a time when the cuts are perfect? sounds like your blades are set in crooked. Check them with the gauge they provided…

Thanks,

Paul
