I’ve seen that before. Its a wave tank in the ocean engineering program and that’s a professor who gets to mess around in his spare time.

We call this sissy-surfing. Behind a boat. This was behind a 22’ v-hull… which doesn’t throw the best wake - that would be the Ski Nautique loaded with fatsacks - and it was kinda blown out, but we had Trevor on board with his camera. You can get a goofy foot and a regular foot on the same wave. I tell people to think of the boat as a fat lady on a boogieboard. Just don’t run into her.
Boat speed is about 12mph.
