Hey folks, Need leads on where I can purchase the rice paper used for lams - specifically in the So. Cal area. Mail order sources are okay too. Mahalo in advance.
Check Foam EZ, Fiberglass Supply, or Surf Source.
Art supply wharehouse on westminster in westminster between edwards and goldenwest. http://www.surfboardglassing.com
Mitch’s sells it, so do some art supply places.

Someone suggested that the paper used in hygenic toilet seat covers will work well for lam logos. As for sources, if you aready know of one go for it. I wouldn’t recommend a widespread public toilet inspection looking for the paper. Rob Olliges
Howzit Rob, Back in the early 70’s I had Steve Bigler shape me a 7’6" board for sunset. He used a rubber stamp with india ink on a piece of toilet paper for the lam and it worked just fine, a little fuzzy but it worked. Aloha, Kokua
still holding up.
First Janet Jackson and now this!!! I am mortified. Do you have any idea how many impressionable children visit this site, only to be greeted by smut, smut, smut. This is the last straw. I will never ever visit this site again and it will be a cold day in H-E-double-hockey-sticks before I ever buy a surfboad from you Mr. Mellor! Tipper
Jihad!!!
Hey guys, thanks so much for the help. Oh, by the way. Kokua… does Bigler still live in the Islands? I remember surfing with him and a friend of mine out at Three’s amny years ago. Seemed like a nice guy. Aloha.

Howzit kboy, Don’t have a clue where Steve is these days. we hung together a lot in the early 70’s and the last time I saw Steve was in 74’ here on Kauai. There was a post here a while back that had him surfing Rincon and still stylish. Aloha, Kokua
