i need to spackle a small hole on the bottom of blank, am doing a tint (red) over it will it show through?

Yeah, it will. Spackle won’t absorb resin, so color is weaker right there. It’s hard to hide every flaw, and some just gotta show.
yeah you will see it but i wouldnt worry about it a whole lot if its small but as long as it rides good fuck it.
Heh…heh…he said fu#k it…, anyway , yes you will see it. I have in the past mixed foam dust with spackle (I add water to my spackle to make it a kind of paste…) and have had decent results. Meaning it hid the repair a little better…key word little…just make sure you let it dry completely. It may hide it a little better since you are doing a red tint…best of luck…peace and waves…
