Been wanting to do a spin art surfboard for a while now. Finally figured out a good way to not sling the board across the room while applying paint. Grinder on a flat surface over grass was a safe bet in case the blank decided to fly like the last time I tried it. Using stick pins through an old sanding pad on the bottom of the blank held it in place nicely.
In hindsight, wish I’d have had more of a plan when I went to throw the paint down. I like how it turned out, but think it would have been cool to have put some of the paint in the center and let it sling outward from there along with the random splatters on nose and tail.
