Spray Painting a Surfboard

I have a surfboard that is rather dull, and I plan on spray painting it to make it look better. I was wondering what kind of spray paint to use. I know a lot of stores around me carry “RustOleum painters touch ultra cover”, and would this be a good spray paint to use. Also does it matter if the board is made out of epoxy or polyester resin?

Thanks

appliance paint works best…but what you have suggested will work.

i’ve got a couple rattle can boards…they look nice and ride great !

Montana Cans.

On the hotcoat any type will work. With the matching clear coat from Montana.

That rustoleum stuff is junk.

i have two boards sprayed with rusto-rattle cans…they look great and the paint is holding up great ! no fading, peeling, chipping…nada.

it’s all in the prep…and i believe he’s talking about a used board aqua.

i still prefer a epoxy appliance paint ,but the draw back is the drying time vs. airborne contaminates.
