I used to have a 9’ Bic that I rigged a squirrel fin into in order to loosen it up a bit. I thought it was a nice combination with the side bites. In order to get the fin to fit into the proprietary Bic fin slot I sandwiched some pieces of a broken CD case together and glued it up. I got the Bic because I broke 6 boards that summer in St Augustine and needed something indestructible. Of course my kook roommate broke that one pulling a flying head first pile driver at the dredge, but Bic was kind enough to replace it for me for free after only a few month wait.

Sorry i couldn’t help you out with a template, but it looked very similar to the one you posted.

Sorry, that was where they were dredging in St Augustine, Florida. Beach renourishment deal that did spruce up the wave quality for the summer.

The Army core of engineers has already had to do it again 3 years later. I believe that costs 10’s of millions each time of (US) tax payer money to subsidize Beach front property owners land.
