I just wanted to share some new fins I am making. I have been doing each one by hand and been having fun.

Those are absolutely beautiful.

How many layers is the layup with the color?

I won’t be making any, but I’m really interested in the "how"part. thx

LMAO!

Beautiful fins! This site is always amazing! Just when you think your mind is blown, bam! Someone else takes it to another level! Im also curious to the secret in the layup?  Thanks for sharing, great fins! R

Those are freakin beautiful!!!!!! Care to share any details?

i have been going to lay up a couple longboard panels lately and had been looking for something exciting to do. i was truly inspired by them, i have a couple ideas how to do something like that. i know theres a little extra work in them but when you have a good basic knowledge of color glassing and fin panel layups its no too hard. we will see as i will have a go over the next couple weeks and report back…

those are some sweet fins...

I would love to share how I made these but it is something new that I am doing and want to stay as far out in front of everyone manufacturing.

I will try to post some more pictures of some new ones tomorrow.[img_assist|nid=1044384|title=stain glass|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=0|height=0][img_assist|nid=1044385|title=stainglass|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=0|height=0]I am figuring out the photo posting thing so here .

ONE MORE TIME.

Are you guys going to be doing 'stainglass' keels or thrusters?   Mike

We are working on keels now. I will post them up next week.

I’m usually a wood-fin type of guy, but you have me more than impressed with those.  Beautiful, and original, work.

I thought if you liked those. You might enjoy these. More photos Thursday

**UNREAL! **amazing work, Shawd!

Wow beautiful fins, geat to check in to sways after so long and still find really inspiring works.

I'm more of a wood fin guy and I find making glass fins a bit of a pain so I buy mine, maybe I'll give it another shot when I clear my seemingly endles list of projects, hoepful squeex a fin or two in over the next year or so when I find the time!

I'm got an incierling on how you did them and I'd like to know if I'm close but I'll send you a PM as I appriciate you want to keep your technique a secret.

some more fins

Bitchen.

Here are the latest.
