I kid bought in an old Jim Phillips board that was missing the fins. The boxes say “star-fins” on them and they look like slots with a pin across each end. Is there any hope of getting fins to fit this board?

I think I have a couple of mismatched Star Fin Systems fins out in my shop. Two roll pins, one on each end with a long bandsaw cut along the base to add some “spring” or tension as I recall. Will try to find one and give you a pic of it, shouldn’t be too hard to make one out of a couple of old fin blanks.

Tomas- I would probably be interested in a center fin- I have an old Canyon (shaped by Rusty P. before he became “Rusty Surfboards”, but it is missing the center fin (Star-fin system, not a “star fin”). The side fins are fiberglass and squared-off… they look similar to a sailboat keel… but I would not necessarily need one of the same template… anything smallish or center-fin-ish would be great.
