well, just finished two boards and wants to paint it!but using oramask film (like frisk film) and some "218 3M tape " to do stencils right on the foam , i had problems cos oramask film does’nt stick well on foam !!!and with the tape it’s difficult to follow curve line without my acrylic paint fuzz under!!!i ve tried the film on hot coated boards and it works !!!would it be better to paint details and complicated design on hot coat instead of foam ? is that possible with acrylic paint (i use liquitex)!!

acrylic works at any stage of the glass job. just be careful, too thick a paint layer can cause problems.
