hi guys… i need to ask you guys a question… i have a manual planer with approximatly 1 7/8" cutter as the width can i still use to cut the stinger… or is it too big??

There’s no reason why you’d have any troubles with the width… but if the entire tool is too long then you might have trouble getting the curves in nose rocker. If the nose rocker is steep and your tool is real long then you won’t be able to keep the blade on the deck. Thats where spoke shaves come in handy… or just a shorter tool. Just practice a few times on the edge of some plywood and make sure your blade cutting depth is where you want it. Better to go slow and take small bites than take out a chunk accidentally and go “oops damn”. cheers, Brennan
