Finally solved my storage problem with blanks, shaped blanks, surf stuff… My 16’ x 20’ storage was meant to be for completed boards or things that needed to be locked up… I was thinking of ways to get more covered area without having to build more permanent structures… Enter the EZ Corner Tents… I’m so stoked with them! Here in Hawaii they are a common sight for peoples “temporary” carports and I use the word temporary loosely! Quick and easy to put up and plenty covered area… I can even spackle under one… Ahhhh… The little things in life that can stoke a man out… Life is getting better… Hee hee!
20’ x 30’ with room to spare. I put shade cloth on the sides where the wind might blow in some rain…
Hi Blane, depending on where you live, anything larger than 120 sqft could require a permit. Some areas are mellower about enforcing that law, others can be a problem. I want to put in a lawn building at my house, but the biggest I can go without a permit is 10’ X 12’ or 120 sqft. I guess that’s what I get for moving to St. Louis heights.
Watch out for the big carpenter bees. They like to make holes in the EPS to grow their babies.
I live in Wahiawa. Permit? WE DON’T NEED NO STINKING PERMIT!!! Hee hee… Just kidding… I’m actually matching most of my neighbors now! When the inspectors come I’l be pleading, “We’re having a LUAU!” I hear ya on the big black Bees… Fortunately I’m out shuffling things around pretty often…

Does that go for fabric buildings that are easily dismantled (unsure what a “lawn building” is)? Around here (NJ) such things are considered “temporary”, and in most places that by definition rules out a permit requirement.
Wow are all those boards pre-ordered? If so, you got yourself a really nice niche! Which shaped blank is mine?
I love those E-Z corners tents and the price is right. I was using mine as a sanding room until those funky gusty Kona winds blew mine over this past February. I got to straighten out a few bent pipes. No big deal.
Yeap… You got to watch out for those carpenter bees! They love making their home in foam. Speaking of which, there is a lot of foam at your home!
