what micron is good for straining resin? Im using epoxy. I see 190 225 and 250
Can’t speak for epoxy, fwiw my .02 backyarder using PE; for pigments going for opaque I rarely ever strain it, use good quality colorants. But if it looks chunky like some bits floating or if I’m mixing tint, I might strain it. In this case I just pour it through (or squeese it through) a few layers of fiberglass scraps.
…hello; yes; for tints and safety better to use it. Normaly is the medium mesh at 260 (could be 250 depends on the brand)
You can use a pantyhose too.
