Stringerless, Carbon Rails

I’ve been wanting to make a stringerless surfboard, I though of doing the high density foam over the eps stringerless blank, then I saw that some people are doing the carbon rails, or the helix ones and of course the parabolic stringer, I know this gives you more flexibility which gives more speed on the turns, so I’d like to hear from some people that have tried this, I’ve already done a carbon fiber board, it was eps but with the stringer, and so far I’ve heard good feedback, it is a bit stiff but super light strong and doing the line seems to work really nice and in the turns too, but this time I want to try a stringerless with a layer of Kevlar or carbon, has anyone done this, and if you’ve, how was it?

thanks

Look at WMD compsand. IMO better than the others … and easier

Get a heavier EPS blank (1.8-2lb?), stringerless, and you can use a normal glass schedule. I would do 3x4oz deck and 2x4oz bottom. Flex is determined not only by the material but also the geometry of the board… lots of variables. The shape of your rails and deck will help determine how much changing your rail or deck material changes flex.
