what stores do you all go to get 40 grit sand paper and your sand screens? my local homedepot and lowes only have 36 grit sand paper and really fine sandscreens, like 150. i cant seem to find 80grit sandscreen. i live in orange county california so if anyone can recommend some stores, i would really appreciate.
…McFadendale’s in Anaheim on Lapalma near the 57fwy.Herb
McFadendale’s… la palma and sunkist? i cant seem to find it on yellowpages. i live right in the area though so that would be an ideal place
your home depot can order those from norton and get them in pretty fast Ill tell you a secret though… SHHHHH this is info i dont usually share, you need to go to a home depot with a tool rental and look for the floor sanders underneath on a shelf you will find 3 grits of 16x24 sceen and its cheap like 3-4 bucks thats what i use when im in between shipments. its good quality too. http://www.surfboardglassing.com
Bunnings at Morayfield sells it
i also use the floorsandscreen. Works realy good.
yes. they also sell a backing pad (similar to Scotchbrite material) that is convenient, and sandpaper in the same dimensions (16" x 24")… nice width for cleaning up the deck of your board.
