Sun Powered DURA REZIN

So I m trying to do a quick, “get it watertight” fix up on an old single that need a bit of love.

I have a single fin comp on the first of August and I want to get it done n and around work at school, in lunch breaks. Llimitations with resins and vapours in a school setting abound so……

I have Picked up this Dura Rezin, it says its sun powered and that you should get it to turn and set/cure in 2-3 mins.

The big issue is the “Clear magnifier sheet” as you can see in the pic its tiny and for anything that resembles a real ding it’s not really big enough.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of sheet it is and if there is a ready source of larger sheets?

Ps the old Byrne is sweet its 5"8" which is a great size as a vintage rider for me…

Plain UV would have been a better choice.  No magnifier needed.  Sets fast.

What you call a magnifier sheet is just a piece of clear plastic to make the repair smooth so you don’t have to sand as much.  Cut a piece out of a plastic soda bottle if you’d like.  A Zip-lock bag will work in a pinch but will melt a bit and not get as smooth as a stiffer piece of plastic.  I use the thick plastic bags made for a vaccume sealer and they work great for this purpose.

That’s a nice looking board.
