super hydrophylic tech

one day soon this will be available as a surface coating for pipes and bottoms of ocean vehicles even windshield…just saying

from the folks at caltech, superhydrophylic nanotube technology and water droplets

Awsome video!!

I think the hydrohpobic tech is used with solar pannels for self cleaning purposes. I dont think its done with carbon nano-tubes though....prolly just silanized glass..

That video was fascinating to watch.  I’m actually looking forward to the day we can use graphine in the construction of surfboards.

As of 2009, graphene appears to be one of the strongest materials ever tested. Measurements have shown that graphene has a breaking strength 200 times greater than steel.[96] However, the process of separating it from graphite, where it occurs naturally, will require some technological development before it is economical enough to be used in industrial processes,[97] though this may be changing soon.[98]
