surboard interactive site

Hi Swaylocks, I’m working on the outline, side view, and crossection view of an 8’8" that’s in the planning stages right now. I can move the lines around ok and make them do what I want to and zoom in and out and seem to be pretty well up to speed with most of the site. But can’t figure out how to print out the lines once I’m done. I still have mucht to learn about how to use the site but it’s a good one. Can you help me? Also If I want to post a photo on the Swaylocks site what’s the order of bussiness? Thanx, Rich

I thought about just using the browser to print out a small version and then taking it to Kinko’s and having them enlarge it, but i havent tried it yet. maybe we should petition the designer to get it going???

Hey Locomo, The site helped me see the lines get to specks for the lines I want. So I just took the measurements off the site and transfered them large graph paper (like thay do house plans on) at 2"=1’ and free handed the lines from the marks I took off the site. The 8’8" looks great now & I can send it to the master shaper and he’ll have a real picture of what what the stick to look like. Seeing the outline means so much. Then you know the specks make sense. and the lines flow well. I couldn’t see any other option but to do some manual graphing. The zoom in zoom out feature did make the layout go well. Guess there’ll never be a substitute for hands on. Frankly I prefer it that way. The site is a good one as far as it goes. So one else can use it much better than I can I’m sure. Good Surfin’, Rich

I am currently printing full color ricepaper lams, nose patches, bands, flowers etc. Printing full templates would be a snap with the right software. I’de like to know more about the design software. Thanks, Ray

If you could share the web address please. Much appreciated
