Sprinterfest PNW is on at the end of the month in Portland… Going on it’s tenth year… Always interesting and you see why those that own them, love them like they do… See you there… Google for details…

I’m impressed!
Really good job you are doing.
I think all the strips running together draw about 3-6A, (so 36-72W), but maybe less…I keep meaning to put my ampmeter in there, but haven’t gotten around to it (honestly, I’m more interested in the draw of the fan because I use it all the time to keep the boards cool–probably like 8 hrs a day in the summer). I currently have them attached to a separate temporary deep cycle battery until I fully design the electrical/solar system. In an ideal world, the house battery will be connected to the starter battery via an isolator so I get charging from the alternator, but don’t run down the starter. Though if it were just the LEDs, I would probably not worry about a house battery–for the current draw and the amount I use them, it wouldn’t be a problem.
Definitely planning to make/get some curtains, but that will probably wait until I’ve got the walls done. I got double layer “limo” tint on all the back windows, but you can still see in at night when the lights are on.
Hi,
Thanks for your answers.
For the air circulation h24, what kind of fan will you use ?
Did u check those solar vent mostly use in boats ?
With the battery they’re supposed to be independent and should work h24 without any wiring or energy source pb.
1 for inflow, 1 for out flow ?
Gd work so far !
