Surf Goodies Surfboards

I’m looking for information on Surf Goodies surfboards. Does anyone who made them or other details?

Thanks

Bob

This is so weird. I have a board that I bought 10 years ago with the same exact ‘Hawaiian’ logo. I haven’t surfed it in over 8 years and just last night I decided to wax it up for a surf, it’s sitting in my car right now. Take a look at my 10 year old post on Sways when I first bought it: http://www.swaylocks.com/groups/info-hawaiian-brand-board
Turns out, my board is a pop out from the 60’s. There were some interesting comments regarding how crappy it was and if you read the post my feathers got a bit ruffled but hey, that’s life. My board doesn’t have the ‘Surf Goodies’ text in the large island but everything else is the same. Are those fins glass on? Where did you find it, west coast/east coast (I’m on east). I’m curious to see any other info. If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay for it?

It’s not my board, I saw the board on facebook - Vintage Collectors site. A friend who has written books on Hawaiian beaches advised me: "The number of Hawaiian Islands, eight,is correct, but the outlines of the individual islands leave a little to be desired. "

I was trying to figure out which island that’s supposed to be, that has the writing inside it. Looking at the rest of the ‘art’ it’s obvious the creator was no cartographer.
