Can I be in trouble putting a vid on YT, and not having the rights for the music!?
I dunno, but it seems that if the copyright holder complains, they can pull the video. Lots of 'em out there, 'tho. IIRC YouTube used to offer music choices that were copyright free.

You tube just takes the sound out of the video. They won’t pull the video though. This is only if the filter “catches” the song though. That doesn’t always happen. If the entire vid is copywritten then YT will pull it.

I think Vimeo is a much classier gig than Youtube.
I've put up 3 vids on it, with songs. Referenced the song in every video. They have not been pulled.

I had to look you up on Vimeo Paul! There are like 12 of you haha!! The only reason I found the "right" Paul Jensen is cos of the avatar.
