This Sunday October 27th, Shaper Supply Co will be hosting a Surfboard Swap Meet, in which the Los Angeles surf community is invited to the space to buy and/or sell a wide collection of new/used boards from local surfers, shapers, collectors, etc.; listen to live music; check out vintage boards; and enjoy some complimentary drinks.
If you’re interested in selling any boards at the event, please let us know so that we can reserve space for you. Please see the flyer and bullet points below for more details regarding the event and please let me know if you’d like to participate:
· The event, located at **Shaper Supply **- 3523 S. Centinela Ave, Mar Vista 90066 (Palms & Centinela) - is free, but we do ask for a $5.00 donation in order to sell your boards, whether you plan on selling one or 50.
· 100% of the donations will be given to Surfer’s Healing, an organization which is dedicated to teaching surfing as a form of therapy to children with autism. For more information, please visit www.surfershealing.org.
· Other than that initial donation, all proceeds from board sales are the seller’s to keep.
· If you are planning to sell boards, please arrive by 9am. The event begins at 10am and is expected to end by 3pm.
· ** Lightning Bolt** (www.lightningbolt-usa.com) and Freedom Artists (www.freedomartists.com) will be setting up tents and selling clothing at discount pricing as well.
· Most importantly, it’s going to be fun – there will be live shaping in the bays, raffles, complimentary beer, and live music.
Please contact us ASAP if you plan to sell boards at the event. We would like to know an approximate amount of boards you’ll be bringing to make sure there’s space for everyone.
