Surf Tech, Tuff lite, EPS foam density?

Did some searching, no luck. Has anyone seen a reference or know the EPS foam density that Surf Tech uses in their cores? Thanks

Yep elewis is correct it is 1lb.

I know a couple of the authorized repair folks and have seen surftech wide open.

how can they be 1 pound and not be vented?

I’m bumping one of my old Surftech threads. The foam core I’ve seen on a Surftech looks like 1 pound…

A lot of boards (windsurfers) built like that are not vented. I think the sandwich construction gives them the strength to resist expanding air pressure.

Plus, Surftech claims they have special EPS that is fused and doesn’t hold air or water.
