I am trying to get down all the different types for surfboard construction and just wondered if anyone knew of any other techs?
Core Types?
Glass Types?
Resin Types?
I have the usual covered, eg
PU, PS, EPS, Popout, Wood.
Glass, I have Volan, eGlass, SGlass
Resin Epoxy or Polyester
Just trying to make sense of the new jargon and tech out there. Thanks
You should really try the search feature
Cloth instead of glass then you can add:
Carbon
Basalt
Kevlar
Innegra
Hemp
Flax
Jute
Bamboo veneer
Nylextra
polyprop, and other versions of
Most have been used here so just search some of the names and you will see what people do with it
Hey thanks sanded, I am also trying to find out if the Lib Tech boards are using new tech. I cant find any info out about their Eco Isotropic thermo fusion system, they are not answering questions either. Is this something new or just a some fancy words for the same of stuff?
