Hi I am in the procces of repairing a badly delamitated fish surfboard, I have cut out and removed all the delaminated glass but I cut a little into the stringer when cutting the glass. As I am planning to surf this board is there anyway that I could strengthen the stringer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Where is your damage, and the cut you mention? How deep is the cut? A little more info is needed. Any chance of some photo’s?

The cut is about 5-7mm deep and is probably 40cm from the bottom of the swallow tail
I was thinking about cutting a small slice on both sides of the stringer and inserting 10mm ply, will this help or will it weaken it more.

I don’t think it’s worth worrying about. I’d just glass it, and then figure out a color design to hide it. Get in the water, and have some fun with it.
