Surfcamp start-up

G’Day Fellas!

Im just wandering what thoughts are out there regarding “the starting of a surfcamp”…? I have various ideas running around my mind but not sure how to attack…

The area of the proposed surfcamp is in the pacific islands, pretty much unsurfed, raw and pristine, exposed to good swell direction, a miriad of reef passes… The reefs are a divers paradise, jungle trekking, bounties of food, fishing and of course waves abound. There are virtually no tourists…

I have found places like this before and hoped it would stay as it were… But it never has and eventually someone comes in and builds a surfcamp and the place is gone… So I figure I may as well get in there and do it my way before quicksilver or co. get in there and rape it to pieces… I want to incorporate an environmental permaculture design that is a purpose built learning centre for local people to gain knowledge and experience in global permaculture practices/with a surfcamp off spin… Including locally grown/shaped boards of course…

This Idea I hope will benifit the environment which is curently under great threat, the people who are very poor and without many income opportunities, and the surfer who wants to get back to thier roots…

My current plan of attack is to compose a web site and busines plan that I show certain people and groups in order to gain a small financial kickstart and begin operations small and low key… And from there grow as it can only grow…

Any ideas of paths to tread? Anyone have any experience in surfcamp beginings?

Fuck off

Thanks for your reply wankalot! Not too sure what your getting at though. They say “He who says too much says nothing” You said fuck all so I guess you said too much. Im having another guess here but under cosmic law your name is a manifesting nightmare, hope the ride is a treat…

Maybe I didnt get my point accross too clearly. Im just wandering if there may be any insight into an idea that has bred and spread globally, “The SurfCamp”. A surfers Dream, Santosha giftwrapped with your name on the packet… A paradise that allows one to sniff nirvana in the face and hold in his heart the reality of consciousness…

Insight into paradise turned hell maybe? I have seen a bit of both and Im still unsure whether the surfcamp is a place that needs materializing… What are the alternatives? Where is the art and soul of surfing going?

Peace Out

hahahah, couldn’t of said it better myself!! A place with no tourists, bounty of food and fish, and no employment oppourtunities? sounds perfect the way it is.
