After hitting the reef and breaking both the nose & tail within short time I’ve started thinking if these would help? Do they affect the ride? Talking about hi-perf longboard in particular. Experiences?
i had a noseguard that outlast one of my old boards. no negative impact on ride performance. wouldn’t put one on my “special boards” for the “special days”…but on my go-to sticks, DEFINITELY. not sure how much it’ll help with reef impacts, but in south florida, where most of your dings come from either “speed bumps” in the lineup, or from moving your board between the garage and the car and the beach…those SurfCo noseguards are GREAT.
