How many of you big boys have a wife or girlfriend who surfs?
I tried to take my wife surfing once, back before we were married and when I suppose she felt obligated. She got battered around in some shoulder high waves (I tried to tell her it wasn’t the best day to learn but she’s stubborn), dragged the 9’6" I’d lent her two miles back down the beach and over the dunes to the cottage I was living at, and has had nothing to do with surfing ever since. That was nearly 25 years ago. I suppose I should be grateful she didn’t keep right on going and never come back though; she’s a great girl.
have a g/f that surfs. we met when she got a custom from the guy i was working for at the time. been together since. very cool!!!
My girlfriend surfs, I could never have a girlfriend who didnt surf now cause ive got it too good. I dont have any of the hassles that everyone else has to go through to live the surfing life which is at odds with those who do not surf.
