Again, from Wetsand.com. This is the forecast for Socal - Big Sur is about a day behind. With any luck, it’ll get in there at Sand dollar. Wednesday the 3rd and Thursday the 4th we’re expecting a back up system riding behind the swell maker for the 1st to bring continued SSW swell. This is looking about 10% stronger on Wednesday the 3rd, possibly 15% bigger (or more) by the afternoon on the 3rd. Thursday the 4th will most definitely see the bigger increase. We still need to confirm this energy in the next 48 hours, but our confidence is high this morning on the following scenario. Wednesday the 3rd sees an increase in the AM sessions to chest to head high, but many breaks see a better increase late afternoon. Thursday the 4th is looking like an over head South swell day. Much of this energy is from 175-180, but it looks like enough energy to boost size at many south facing breaks into the 1-2 foot over head zone. We’ll continue to monitor this activity, and will keep you posted as things progress.
