Tail thickness overshaping

Hello everibody
I shaped this board. Is a 7’6" x 3" x 22"

The tail tip thIckness is half inch.

At 4" from tail its 1 1/2 inch

The midpoint of board is 3"

Should i make the board shorter and square the taill at 3" from tail or can i leave it like this?

Cheers all help is apreciated.

Leave it, glass it, ride it.

You’d be surprised how thick the rail will be after glassing. I see no problem with that rail thickness. Most new shapers make board way too thick…make sure you foil the nose and tail real good, get a proper rail outline and that board will fly. And if it sucks…sell it and make another one.

I think so also, thank you.
I hope it flys dow the line.
Thanks

This is the best advice. Consider your board a means to an end, not the end.

The transition looks good.
I guess it will surf.
