Has anybody ridden the Takayama DT2 model? If so, how did it ride off the tail and how well does it noseride? Thanks a lot.
The DT2 is a very easy and forgiving shape. It can be surfed in many differents conditions, my favorite size is around soulder high.
It’s an allround noserider, can be turn and carved from the tail and noseride pretty good if the waves are fast enough, it’s a speed shape so it does’nt sucks from the tail.
It’s a bit tricky to hang ten, but five is ok.
Definitly not a good board for very small waves, unless fast and hollow.
I’ve been surfing it double over head and was very easy.
I have it in 9’2x22 3/8X 3 for 140lbs.
I’m more of a classic longboarder so for me it’s more like a HPNR, but to some guys who are really into HPlongboarding, it’s more a classic.
