As a father of four, I am sometimes often subjected to watching Nickelodeon. Tonight, they have the Nick Teen Choice Awards. Each awardee receives a custom shortboard.
I am wondering, who the lucky shaper is and what do you think their thoughts are on shaping a massive amount of boards for an awards show?

I was thinking that too! However, each board has different paint scheme, any ideas on that?
Chris Kaysen is the shaper, Basham’s the glassers, Zuma Jay’s the account.
And now that, that question has been answered I can die in peace.
Mostly the Santa Monica Blvd corridor and out towards Malibu is where these tv, movies, media surfboards come from.
All the Hollywood types predominantly live in these areas and source from there.
2010 boards were done at Bashams, working with Zuma J surfboards. I printed the fabric for those boards. www.deamfagproductions.com
As for this year, Bashams did not get the deal & I think ZJ passed on them as well.
I would be interested to know if they used fabric or just shrink wrapped this years props.
