Sunday evening I was walking from my house out to westcliff in Santa Cruz. Near Blackburn street and Neary Lagoon someone left nice, heavy, metal shaping racks in front of their house with a “free” sign.
It was like a sign from the Gods that it is now time to shape my first board! I came back with my truck and grabbed 'em.
I’ve been reading Swaylocks now for the past couple months, and I find it very inspiring. A big thanks everyone for their time and expertise. Thanks to the individual who no longer wanted their racks. I will put 'em to good use.
