update on your skatey blank , trucks , and wheels … it’s now nearly finished !
thanks to your namesake at the local skate / 'surf 'shop , for doing this ! Did a pro job , mate !
now , to cut out the cutting board , drill some holes [tail block skid plate ] , and ready to try the local skatepark with it !
oh yes , and varnish the bottom and exposed rails , to waterproof it . 
… the skidplate has been added , now …
I’ve decided to oil the deck and rails , rather than varnish , as two people I asked mentioned that it ‘may’ end up a bit more ýellow’, with varnish / estapol …
I ended up using linseed oil. Lots of coats.
It smells better than estapol would have .
Doesn’t look ‘too’ yellow , either .
