Hi All, Just giving my regards to an awsome site! But theres still a question of perfomance enhancement. Tell me why do designers do what they do? Do they invent to be at the the same stage where they started? Or do they try to increase performance and add practicle and usefull ideas into a less than perfect composition to achive a betterment for the efforts of inquiry. It boils down to this, surfhulls are at this moment limited in development! If you desire drive and smooth lines in your surfing you sacrifice manauverability. And loose drive when you incorporate more manauverability. Go to my link and see a board that sacrifices niether. In fact the speed limit is still yet to be determined. P.S. they also come in 8’-9’ versions… whoops! regards T.E. http://www.geocities.com/wunderboyi/frontpage.html?1058601999800
wow!! the longboards on the bottom of the page look pretty nice. also, very informative site. lots of good technical data as well as videos of people ripping it up. http://www.psywww.com/resource/selfhelp.htm
Hahahaha, Excellent link, Noodle, Best joke on this site!!!
One thing you will notice in surfing is that 99% of riders like the asthetics of a clean outlined surfboard, theres some strange shapes around and they never really get going. Its all about looks dude. Unfortunately that board design is not really that nice to look at, which means it is not going to appeal to the general surf population.
Ugly but FAST !!! Ha ha ha ha…YOu got me there newdel…I like your adolescent style. Those links folks will eventually grow with info. I just threw them together one night to restart where I left off a couple of years ago. Had no footage then either, but still managed to get 7500 visitors in 24 mths to my less than adequate representation and managed to sell 4 FP to 3 Ausi`s and one South Caroliner. You see folks we are just a small back yard setup and you aint seen nothin yet! http://www.geocities.com/wunderboyi/frontpage.html?1058601999800
T.E. I’m sorry? Did you have anything new to add? No. I didn’t think so. Here’s a tip. When you’ve invested in a proper site, with a lot more detail, some interesting (new) photographs and some informative background then…and only then…re-visit this site to provide a link. Otherwise you’re doing yourself more harm than good. Regurgitating the same old same old is hardly the cutting edge of discussion threads…and it simply reflects badly on your boards - whatever people may think about them. If - as you say - you respect this site, then hold off until you’ve got something new and original to say or ask.
Why don’t you get the info you had on the old site up again? There used to be lots of pictures and a short videoclip. What you realtion to the inventor of this thing anyway? I would really like to try a FP, but I guess that won’t happen unless I build one myself. And please, loose all the pictures of this thing painted as a shark or whatever… It’s not doing the design any good regards, Håvard
I overheard my Mom tell my dad how much she liked the Fat Penguin. havefun [frown])
Nice try, but get your closing exact, and learn how to spell. … have fun
The girl with the whip cream and licking the FatPenguin was just a bit too much for me.
