The Ambrose travel board's twin blank............

Here it is folks!!! …even has the clark labels on it that brose sent me…along with the first coat of wax(ambrose’s recycled reef wax)given to me by proneman on pick up of the travel board. I was going to christen her on friday at the memorial(hobie), but i think easter sunday will be it’s birth…or is that re-birth. i never planned it this way…you think ??? have a great easter guys !!!

you bet !!!

Good job! Clean shape.

thanks shapaholic,

the pictures really don’t do it justice…but it’s what i can post.

HAPPY EASTER !!!

It’s nice n colorful! How does she go!? It looks like a fun board! Keep us posted. Maybe you should make another! I already want to make another of what I just built, but w a different tail shape. I’m thinking about a thumb tail? Put double concave in tail as well. Maybe same setup!? Your pics look fine. Nice pintail !

HAPPY EASTER BACK @ YOU -Herb!

she rides great ! need more time on her though…got a nice floater yesterday.

funny thing only a half dozen people out w/ some head high sets coming in.

h.b. probably sucked the crowds away .

hope you had a great easter…good luck in your future projects.

Nice! That’s a good sign. It sounds like a fun board.it’s also cool you put some color on as clear boards are redundant…

I dunno wth to build yet!? It could be a gun, it could be a psb, a groveler, or a long board!? I’ll definitely put modz in!:P!!! Have funon that thing Herb!! Cheers !

shapa…it’s airbrushed paint on blank…ez enough to do really.

I’ll have try an airbrush sometime.

Anyway, I am trying to order quad fins, but these people at the co are being idiots! I’m clearly tell n them I need pricing for glass ons… and they seem to not have anything?

Let me know if and when…i can steer you in the less expensive direction.

harbor freight has alot to offer,as far as inexpensive equipement.

you can also sponge ,pen or brush on paint…no air needed.

thanks -Herb! I’m on their coupon list I signed up for it… Michael’s also sells a badger airbrush for$26 bucks w coupon. I had one -'it worked w revel hobbyist air canisters !

I might build another fish bcuz a friend wants one. What are you going to be building next?

Yeah, the plan is to make my own old style surf shop- the kind w out all the clothes and bs…just wax, cooords, board’s and prices that people can afford.just dreaming out loud.

nothing wrong with dreamin’

reality usually sets in sometime after that.

did alot in my life because of dreamin’.

was featured in a top rock video of the 80s.

owned my own surf shop/label.

rode high speed skateboards with the best of the best and remain friends with them today.

featured in a documentary movie.

the list goes on…and much longer.

may your wishes come true.

“the club” as peter mel calls us.

The plan is to - keep going ! Keep shaping board! Test them, improve them, try out different shapes, make up mods I think work… it’s about all I can do in a nutshell!? Thanks.

Herb - are you going to do another surf shop!? I was reading back in the day -there was waaay more surf shop’s… I think renting of space is what killed it…

didn’t even knew this existed til today…found it on a buddies fb page…rb owns a surf shop up north called ,“tsunami surf and sport”…as far as me opening up a shop…it’s never toooo late !!!

I think it’s best to “do what you love.” That way work is more enjoyable… that’s my take - FWIW.

you bet it is !

that’s why most of us here build boards…for the love of it…have fun and enjoy the day my friend !
