Why are we doing this…

It could be anyone of us. Except look at that freakishly huge chunk of foam…and it’s not EPS.   What the hell is is?

 

I’m guessing its someone who buy way too big of blanks and cuts them down…just for fun.

Thanks for posting this one, Paul; brings back a lot of good memories.

Just for the record, I was using the Rockwell planer that John Mellor so kindly sent to me. The blank was a 11’3’’ Burford and I shaped the glider in the last photo out of it for PierreB.

Is Balsa a lefty?  Yeah Those French guys are all lefty commie types. Oh … This about being lefthanded. In France They all have to be left handed it Has to do with the cork screws and opening all that wine.  At least thats what I read on the internet.
