Rockwell planer … loved my Rockwell, it rocked.
Yeah. Funny, I still see a Rockwell around once in awhile. Only someone who used one in the early days or know someone who did seem to show much interest. I’ve even asked a few “seasoned” shapers if they ever used one and it seems few have or are even familiar with them. I had the opportunity last year to pick one up. I’ve always heard they were great for "hoginn’ " stuff out, but hell! I grew up in the “close tolerance Clark era”. and with CNC and a couple of 7.5 's no need.
I use mine for my wood boards.
Heavy works good for laying flat on wood.
