The Jig's Up

Surely you aren’t trying to tell me that Eurpoe is in need of welfare because it’s suffering in squalor. Postwar Europeans would have died to reach the level of your “poorest” Norwegians. When are you giong to figure out that you have gone too far? I read where your good friends in Sweden are suffering from one of their recent choices. Swedes caringly chose to vastly increase the amount of money they pay for workers to take sick leave, while removing all but the most liberal restrictions on the amount of sick leave their workers could take. Gee, now Swedes can’t figure out why their sick rate is cresting thirty percent, their tax coffers are running dry, and their productivity is cratering. Soon they will be suffering in squalor. Your wish will come true. You get what you pay for.

Fuck man , let’s stick to surfing, PLEASE.

My apologies to you, No Bookies. Apologies to Noodle and Mike too. This isn’t the forum to have a stupid pissing match. Noodle has been very generous in providing me with computer templates and always has good info to share - sorry, Noodle.

John, I’m sorry too, but I remain convinced that this issue is tied to our survival, the survival of my family and yours. If Saddam wins… surfing will mean nothing if we aren’t here to surf. The rules of peaceful engagement were forever altered when people invented the fusion bomb. The rules used to dictate that the attacking nation was the aggressor, and no nation had a right to use force until they were attacked. In the nuclear age following this rule means death to peace loving people. Now its kinda like the difference between Christianity and some other religions. The only way to salvation lies in determining intent, the content of ones heart. If peace loving people wait for a nuclear power with bad intent to attack, it’s already too late.

Especially if the nuclear power with bad intent has small regard for self-preservation.
