We’re still here Herb, so I guess we should learn to get along, and make the best of it.
There was no doubt in my mind that the Rodent is intelligent.
Cognizance of interactive communication could improve.
When he puts aside the glory days, the Rodent could actually be affable.
Well I suppose I must await the next Harmonic Convergence now …

Well - as lcc may have heard…
Some wheather, and some concern over the violence and the times, including students taking the last day off, online talk of end times violence… School was cancelled, and the conditions came together such that I got to have an adventure to a very fickle spot and get some waves, have a massive paddle experience, (Used my biggest gun to paddle and tow my riding board…), and afterwards check out some awesome coast I haven’t seen as an adult, or like 35 years… Ha!
Maybe I did feel a shift on the first leg of the paddle… “Hmmm… there really is a lot of water moving, and it’s a long way to the other side…” Ha! Then again, a good buddy, one of only two I’d have gone with, the other hitting the road to So.Cal., passed to stay home with his girlfriend for the end of the world, then they went out and spent $1,500.00 on food… Ha! May be a good move, probably a new big chore to use it up, rotate stock, etc… before they have $1,000.00 worth of trash… When I asked him what the plan is to cook all that stuff, he said, “That’s a good question, that’s what we’re working on next.”
I’m hoping my 2+ weeks will get us through the big one(s), but I’m not set up to go off the grid in a post electrical world…
So far my best end of the world experience… Y2K was an interesting night, but too many people kooking out… Par for New Years any way…
Well, since we’re all still here, peace and love to us and ours…
yep the world ,based on planet Pswayla,
ended again yesterday just when I got
13 notices to check this thread.
but I just kept working on my
Ultimate screen door project.
Of course this includes RRepoxy
qcell sawdust recomposition
of dry rot siding over door way
and building screen door from repurposed
doug fir 4x6 ,salvaged from hurricane Iniki debris,
ripped on 10’’ beam saw I aquired for ripping
three balsa boards waiting in line
for surfboard attention growth
[get the add drift?]
Integrating surfboard building wisdom
into daily life as well as integrating participation
on swaylox general forum is a work in progress.
the computer chair under the stairs is a great place
to put on my jack percell t-shoes and catch up with
not imaginary friends and wperiodic world ending
helps to get back on track with projects like
decomposing screen doors.
soon I am planning mixing rr-epoxy and polyester
resin before laminating a combination snow board,
tomo board and wake board and bagging it
with old stripped glass from a MR twin fin
because I wanna save the grafix.
…ambrose…
looked in the mirror
yep the world changed
but my creative bent
is still not straightened
out.
hauoli makahiki hou
Hau’oli Makahiki Hou - Happy New Year. The western Christmas and New Year fell during this same time of the year that the Hawaiians traditionally honored the earth for giving them plenty to eat. This period of resting and feasting was called Makahiki (mah-kah-HEE- kee). It lasted for 4 months, and no wars or conflicts were allowed during this time. Because makahiki also means “year”, the Hawaiian phrase for “Happy New Year” became “Hau’oli (happy) Makahiki (year) Hou (new)”(how-OH-lee mah-kah-hee-kee ho). By John Fischer
