I mean, REALLY, who gives a shit about high quality board design and construction? Who really cares about whatever name brand materials and resin?? When the surf’s up at the local beachie who gives a flyin fark about that shiny well-crafted shooter??? Any old backassward fins on a broken piece of crap found in a ditch will do just fine, right??? Spray paint, bondo and boat resin! Gimme the lowest common denominator! The least amount of thought and effort!! Does anyone care? Why in the hell are we here anyway???

man, this is ignorant posting this here. It’s pretty obvious to me that a lot of people here care about quality, advancment of the sport and sharing experiences learned with various materials.If you don’t like it don’t read it, ride your bondo encrusted driftwood stick and don’t kill the stoke of others.

but before swaylocks i was smoking drinking drug taking loozer

1 year later im paddle fit .surfing really well (all day if i want)

on my own boards which are fun to make

and even more fun to surf

i dont really care about brands and use whateva i can get my hands on

I guess Marx have alerted about the tyranny of the masses, but it’s an absurdity… But I think this is a kind of reaction to way things have been going at swaylocks lately. About one year ago, the discussions in the forum were more exciting and interesting. And the things got worst after Clark’s closure. This fact have inflated some egos…

good to see you here.

not wanting to contribute to any swaylocks bashing fest, or to general ignorance - which is bliss by the way - and the de-evolution of surf craft. BUT, things have gotten a little stale. my fault too.

it is a normal pattern, put water in a pot, turn on the heat, it will boil, until it evaporates… until someone adds more water or turns off the heat.

after clark, everyone is eps crazy. the future? i don’t know, don’t care. we are here to experiment - how else do you learn?

i agree with the sentiment of who cares what brand, etc. for the most part, resin is resin is resin. just got to figure oout how to use it…

I may agree, and I wish I had waves, but this is just another thread NOT discussing design.

I’m still waiting on something new.
