The silver surfer

The guy that I made this “stubby” for had the silver surfer printed on a 7’00" long sheet of “unwoven” (I don’t know how you call that). I laminated that on the blank. Bottom is tinted.

Planning to finish tomorrow with pinlines and gloss. (Right now, it’s sanded, I’m gonna install the fin-box tonight… maybe.)

Tres belle!

Is this a solid basla or composite?

Silverback, it’s a very classical PU/PE. The bottom is peach-tinted and maybe the flash made it look like balsa, but it’s not. MERCI for the kind comment!

That’s the bottom:

Ahhh… je suis tres unobservant, il ya un stringer!

Nice board nonetheless

Ben, dimensions are: 6’8" x 22 1/4" x 3".

Not quite a stubbie. Round nose, wide diamond-tail, flat bottom with V in the tail, rounded/down rails with a tucked-under edge, single + 2 set-up.

good stuff…thanks Bill!!

Will you be doing glassed ons , or plugged, for the side fins ?

Are you making a back fin for it , or buying one ?

cheers mate !
