The War Pig.

So I have shaped many a longboard over the years.

Decided to make myself a Pig style board.

Never had one of my own.

Someone gave me an ogirinal Hap jacobs template.

I bought a 10’ 2"B Us Blanks and flipped the board around.

Tail is nose.

Nose is tail.

9’ 6" x 23.5" x 3.25"

Wide point back 7".

60/40 rails.

Rolled Vee throughout.

Opaque Olive green bottom and rail.

Gold/Green Opaque deck.

Red resin pinline.

Glassed-on Pivot fin.

Clean…Gawd Dayum!

Maybe it’s an artifact of the reflection, but is there some kind of stepped chine thing happening on the bottom tail?

looks cool! let us know how you like it!

Always thought pig style longboards looked so much more manouverable and functional in our beach breaks, but 99% of longboards here are the paddle pop style. Fun, but the big wide nose gets in the way. Let us know how it goes mate

Way nice Barry!

The shape is so vintage (nice score on the template) best “retro” pig seen yet and the color hits me as something you could stash in the bushes and ditch the Marines!

beautiful work Barry!

Wow, I think I’m in love.

Speaks to me. I really like it.

Very cool.  We seldom get blank references for these kinds of boards so I appreciated that, too.

Barry, what did you do for glassing?  Heavyweight with Volan, or just go with 6oz?

dat board

8oz. Bottom

8/6oz. deck.

Built to last.
